What to do next?

Initial meeting

We will meet up for our initial meeting and discuss about your wedding plans. This is very important as we can understand and better create your most personalised ceremony for the big day. Remember it is your big day so you do have a say to choose how to celebrate your special moment.

Form 13 NOIM

You will be required to lodge a “Notice of Intended Marriage” form (NOIM). I will be able to assist in completing this form so no need to stress. I will also provide a copy of Happily Ever Before and After as per requirement in the Marriage Act.

Rehearsal

It is important to be prepared for the ceremony therefore rehearsals are recommended prior to the wedding day. A “Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage” Form 14 is required to be signed on this day by both parties.

Wedding

All the preparations are set and the big day is here! I will officiate the marriage and you will both exchange your vows and rings. You will nominate two witnesses to sign the register with us then you will be pronounced Husband & Wife/Mr & Mrs or Spouses/Partners in Life! It is now official and you are married!

Marriage registration & Official Marriage Certificate

It is now your celebration time and I will take care of the rest. Once the marriage is solemnised, I will register your marriage with Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) via e-Registry within 3 business days. If you would like to apply for the Official Marriage Certificate, I will be able to apply on your behalf and you will receive it in the mail within 2 weeks. Once the registration and certificate had been applied, I will be emailing you the registration number to confirm your marriage is registered and the certificate is on its way. Please note the Official Marriage Certificate cost is charged by BDM and is a separate charge which is not included in my package. More information on the Official Marriage Certificate can be found here.
