As an authorised marriage celebrant appointed by the Attorney General of Australia, it is my greatest pleasure to share and be part of your special day. With a Chinese family background, I am fluent in both Cantonese and English, making it possible to officiate personalised ceremonies in either language. The Process

1. Initial Meeting

Our first meeting is required for discussing your wedding plans. This is your opportunity to share your vision, so I can better understand and create the most personalised ceremony for your big day. Remember, it’s your special moment, and you have a say in how it is celebrated.

2. Lodging Form 13 NOIM

You will need to lodge a “Notice of Intended Marriage” (NOIM). I will assist you in completing this form, ensuring everything is in order. Additionally, I will provide a copy of "Happily Ever Before and After," as required by the Marriage Act.

3. Rehearsal

Preparation is key to a smooth ceremony. I recommend rehearsals before the wedding day. On this day, you and your partner will also sign the “Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage” (Form 14).

4. The Wedding Day

On the big day, all preparations will come to fruition. I will officiate your marriage, where you will exchange vows and rings. You will nominate two witnesses to sign the register, and then you will be pronounced Husband & Wife/Mr & Mrs or Spouses/Partners in Life. It’s official—you are married!

5. Marriage Registration & Official Marriage Certificate

Once the marriage is solemnised, I will register your marriage with the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) via e-Registry within three business days. If you wish, I can apply for the Official Marriage Certificate on your behalf, which you will receive in the mail within two weeks. Please note, that the Official Marriage Certificate cost is charged by BDM and is not included in my package.
