We highly recommend Betty as a celebrant. She was incredibly helpful and made the entire process easy and stress free from start to finish. Her guidance for both the ceremony and reception was invaluable, and she shared many useful and practical ideas that really helped with our planning.
Betty is fluent in both English and Cantonese, and her bilingual delivery was excellent. She took great care to walk us through every step of the ceremony, making sure we felt comfortable and well prepared. Her professionalism and great attention to detail made sure everything ran smoothly on the day of our wedding.
She was also very responsive and always answered our questions promptly, which gave us a lot of reassurance along the way. We are very grateful to have had her as our celebrant and MC, and we would happily recommend her to anyone.

Betty was the celebrant for our wedding yesterday and created a beautiful, personalised bilingual ceremony in English and Cantonese. She was organised, easy to communicate with, and struck a great balance between offering helpful suggestions and listening to what we wanted. We really appreciated her flexibility and calm professionalism on the day, especially with our ceremony held in a busy public reserve. We’re very grateful for her support in making the ceremony run so smoothly.

Betty was very professional and showed that she could adapt and change to cater to our event needs on the day whilst addressing all our guests in english/cantonese (40 degree day, outdoors). She was very helpful in ensuring our vows were appropriate and aligned with one another whilst remaining original (she also prepared beautiful vow booklets for us). She was also efficient in the registration and kept us updated throughout. Overall an amazing and simple experience. Highly recommended

We had the pleasure of having Betty as our celebrant, and we couldn’t be happier! She is incredibly experienced, organised, and always on time — someone you can truly rely on for your big day. Betty was so thoughtful with every little detail, often reminding us of things we hadn’t even thought about and offering helpful suggestions along the way.
What we really appreciated was how she customised everything to suit us — making our ceremony feel personal, meaningful, and unique to our story. Her professionalism and calm presence made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Betty was an amazing celebrant. She helped us with prepping all the paper work as well guided us through our ceremony. She showed us and helped arrange how we should walk down the aisle which really took a off lot of the stress as we had a very simple backyard wedding. She spent the time to get to know us and crafted a deeply personal speech for our ceremony in both English and Cantonese, and I cannot thank her enough for doing this as my older relatives who only spoke Cantonese were very moved by it.
Our small backyard wedding was a success and having Betty as my celebrant played a big part in that amazing day. Thanks again!

It has been a challenging year for everything especially when it comes to planning. All our plans were greatly affected by the unforeseen events. Betty remained calm and professional yet flexible and supportive throughout the whole time. Eventually our registration was conducted in simple and intimately, just as what we wanted. Alan and I would like express our greatest gratitude to Betty for conducting and guiding us through a uniquely personalised bi-lingual wedding. She not only provides exceptional service and she really do care about you!
It was a year before our wedding when we booked her in and we’d never thought COVID-19 was going to be in the way. In the months leading up the wedding, it was definitely a roller coaster for all of us. Having the city locked down and restrictions with all social events was daunting, we were all so miserable during the time waiting for new government announcements every single week.
In the end we were finally able to have the wedding happening on the original scheduled date in July , which was just a week after the easing of restrictions! Betty patiently waited with us and gave us a great amount of guidance and advices of what our options were during the pandemic. Without her help and understanding, I would dare to say we’d be extremely lost and might not be able to get married on our desired date.
Once again, thank you so much Betty, you’re absolutely amazing! You’ve made our wedding an extremely special memory!

Betty was the marriage celebrant for my wedding at Taronga Zoo. My wife’s family is Cantonese and I’m really glad we were able to book Betty. Betty personalised our story at the ceremony and was able to translate this to Cantonese. She was very organised and was able to control the crowd on that day. I’m very grateful for Betty and would recommend her to anyone who needs a marriage celebrant.

My husband and I decided to sign during the height of the Covid pandemic, when Australia's borders was still closed off, and having Betty as our celebrant made the whole process a smooth, easy one. She was so understanding when we were working out the details of the ceremony with her and so efficient with the paperwork. On the actual day, we had to quickly change the seating arrangements so the lighting will be better for our family members who had attend through Zoom and she was quick to adapt and help out. We felt like we were in safe hands with her as our celebrant. Thank you so much for being with us on our special day!

Hi Betty, thank you soooo much for the professional celebrant service yesterday. As you know there was a delay because parents were late but you have dealt with the situation patiently and professionally. I was very nervous once I got off the boat, lol, thank you so much for explaining what I should do (although I still got it wrong lol). Thank you for going to mum and got the handwritten vows for me too, I was panicking about it on the boat! Oh and thank you for reminding us from time to time about the vow and gave us sample vow for back up! We'll definitely keep recommending all our brides and grooms to go for your professional service!

Betty was absolutely amazing!
We couldn't be happier with Betty as a celebrant.
We planned an oversea wedding in Australia long-distance from Hong Kong and We would not have been able to do it without Betty's passionate and professional support. She created a ceremony so personal and unique to us. It was everything we dreamed of and so much more. Her story writing and telling skills are incredible and really touched our heart.

I highly recommend Betty for anyone who need an amiable, skilled, and detail-oriented marriage celebrant in NSW Australia.
I came across Betty online after a brief Google search -- after I fixed the date I honestly didn't know where to start with. Betty is one of the best choices I made about planning the wedding in a short period of time for sure, even though it sounded so random.
She gave us a lot of useful advice for the planning of the ceremony in the first obligation-free consultation, and told us the ways she handled different formats and scales of ceremony. She's shown great experience and confidence in being a trustworthy marriage celebrant, and it was obvious from the first impression.
After deciding to request her as our marriage celebrant, we held another detailed session of consultation for her to understand our history, families, personalities, and so on. As she's fluent in both English and Cantonese, it was extremely helpful, as English wasn't my first language, and the ceremony would be bilingual given the guests' ethnic background.
Since then, Betty helped take great care of the details about documentation and run-down of the ceremony, and oh man, these could easily get super confusing. I was glad that she was able to:
(1). communicate very effectively what information she required
(2). respond to questions we raised in a timely manner, and
(3). double-check all the names, dates, etc. with attention to details to make sure there were no mistakes
She made the whole planning process hassle-free indeed.
Shortly prior to the big day, we had a rehearsal at the venue with Betty. At first, I thought it wasn't necessary, but in hindsight it turned out to be really really useful -- on the actual big day, with so many things going on, I wouldn't have been able to know where to stand or walk towards and what to do next, as my mind went blank a few times. It was super important.
Overall, she has been reliable, sweet, and organised to let me feel reassuring. She also added her own personal touch to make the ceremony flow naturally and smoothly.

Betty as a bilingual celebrant really hosted the ceremony well using both English and Cantonese. Our guests from China felt special and included at the ceremony.
Throughout the wedding planning, Betty was extremely helpful, giving us suggestions to write our vows and ceremony ideas.

Betty conducted an absolutely unforgettable bilingual (Cantonese and English) ceremony for Le and I. We'd written our own vows and Betty had done an amazing job of crafting a ceremony that reflected our fun-loving personalities. She had our family and friends laughing and smiling from ear to ear. Betty was very accommodating and informative at each of our meetings and rehearsal in the lead-up to the wedding. Betty was always available to us through email, phone calls or SMS to answer any of our many silly questions and was accommodating to last-minute changes. We even received our marriage certificate the week just after our wedding. She was so efficient. We are extremely glad that we were able to find someone so professional and friendly to marry us and we'd highly recommend Betty to anyone who is planning their wedding. Your service was really great and comprehensive, leaving us literally nothing to worry on the day. We liked how the ceremony pieces were prepped gradually in months and weeks leading to the day and how simple the paperwork was. Betty was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Betty took the time to sit down with us and went through all the details of the ceremony but beyond that she also gave the time to learnt about our relationship. From there, Betty was able to tell our guests on our wedding day how my husband and I became a couple.
Betty gave us the option to conduct the ceremony in half English and half Cantonese which was convenient and helpful for our guests.

Betty was very professional and very helpful. She took trouble to travel and meet me twice before the wedding day. She visited my wedding site and offered experienced advices with enthusiasm. She is also patient and has a happy manner. She makes both of my husband and me very calm and at ease on my wedding day. Thank you for your great service!!!
