My Process for a Perfect Beach Ceremony

Step 1: Initial Consultation

We’ll meet to discuss your dream beach ceremony — from tone and theme to location ideas. You’ll have the chance to share your story and the atmosphere you’d like to create, whether it’s light-hearted and fun or romantic and elegant.

Step 2: Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

I’ll guide you through completing the legal paperwork and ensure your NOIM form is properly lodged under the Marriage Act. You’ll also receive a copy of Happily Ever Before and After, as required by law.

Step 3: Personalised Script Writing

Your ceremony will be written from scratch based on your preferences, including readings, rituals, and vows. I’ll share drafts with you so you can refine every detail until it feels perfect.

Step 4: Rehearsal & Preparation

For outdoor weddings, I recommend a short rehearsal to ensure everyone knows their place and timing. We’ll discuss wet-weather contingencies and sound arrangements, giving you confidence on the day.

Step 5: The Wedding Day

I’ll arrive early to coordinate with your photographer, musician, and venue team. From guiding you through your vows to officially pronouncing you married, I’ll ensure your ceremony flows beautifully.

Step 6: Marriage Registration

After the ceremony, I’ll submit all documents to the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM) within three business days. If you wish, I can also assist with your Official Marriage Certificate application.
