  Betty was an amazing celebrant - we had two ceremonies with Betty, a small legal ceremony with just our immediate families, than a larger renewal-of-vows ceremony with our larger group of family and friends.
Betty delivered both ceremonies flawlessly in Cantonese and English. Not only that, she was so accomodating and helpful on the day of, and supported us leading up to the first ceremony with a call, a meeting in person, and in answering all our random questions in between (including sharing samples of vows to help us with ours!) Betty also assisted us with all the legal paperwork involved and this was done so professionally and quickly, making everything stress free before and on the days of our weddings. She was also so lovely when we had microphone issues with our venue at our second ceremony - it stopped working and she graciously stayed and lent us her personal microphone and speaker system to finalise our family photos.

Legal Signing: If you simply want to get the legal part done or plan to elope, I’ll come to your chosen location to officiate and file all necessary paperwork. You can even bring a photographer to capture beautiful moments outside of a government office.

Full Ceremony: My premium service includes writing a highly personalised ceremony after interviewing you both. You’ll have the chance to review and edit the script. I’ll also bring sound equipment, if needed and will happily engage with your guests before and after the ceremony.

How Do We Proceed?

Here's what we'll do:

Initial Consultation

We'll meet to talk about your wedding plans and your dream ceremony. This helps me understand how to craft an experience that reflects your love story.

Lodge the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form must be completed and lodged legally in Australia. I will guide you through the process. This ensures everything is prepared for your big day.

Rehearsal (Optional)

A rehearsal can be arranged if necessary to go over the ceremony details and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Wedding Day

On your wedding day, I’ll officiate the ceremony, ushering you through your vows and ensuring all legal requirements are fulfilled. You’ll focus on celebrating and I’ll handle the rest.

Marriage Registration

After the ceremony, I’ll take care of registering your marriage with the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages (BDM). If requested, I can also assist in applying for your official marriage certificate.
